The movie "The Town" is about a group of ruthless bank robbers, who pride themselves in getting out of each robbery without getting caught. After taking a hostage at one of the banks, Doug MacRay (who is played by Ben Affleck) starts to hang out with the hostage. The hostage, Claire Keesey (who is played by Rebecca Hall) is unaware that her new boyfriend, Doug, is the one who took her at gunpoint from her bank, theatening her life. Their romance quickly turns sour when both of their lives are in danger due to Doug's bank robbing habits.
This is a great movie that leaves you always wanting to know what will happen next. Ben Affleck has not played a decent role in a movie in the past few years, until The Town. It made a total of approx. $50 M in the US and Canada.
